HR Generalist - Legal (palo alto)

Our client is seeking a HR Generalist with 7+ years on point experience within a law firm or professional services working environment. Ideal candidate will possess full knowledge of California and Federal labor/employment laws and changes as well as demonstrated supervisory skills.

Duties include staff management, new hire orientations, new hires, terminations, status changes, on boarding, training and the management of day to day operations. Additional responsibilities will include performance evaluations, approving of weekly timesheets, and handling any additional HR requests, recruiting and project management.

Must offer a high level of professionalism, be detail oriented and an excellent communicator.

BS/BA degree required, MS preferred. PHR or SPHR helpful

Software skills: MS Office Suite, demonstrated use of HRIS software, type 60 wpm.
