EVENING LAW STUDENTS needed for F/T Litigation Law Clerk Position (Washington, DC)

Employment law firm with a practice concentration in whistleblower law seeks a full-time Law Clerk to assist its attorneys with litigation and trial preparation. It is an excellent opportunity for evening division law students who want to learn the professional responsibilities and legal demands of a litigation associate through hands on law firm experience. Duties include:
* Extensive client contact and communication
* Performing substantive and procedural legal research
* Drafting complaints; substantive preliminary and trial motions and oppositions; and discovery requests
* Calendaring meetings, depositions, hearings, trial dates, and other events as necessary for attorneys and other attendees
* Other responsibilities as assigned

This position involves extensive research, writing, client contact, and case management.

Applicants must be current evening division law students interested in gaining practical litigation and trial experience.

NO JDs, LLM STUDENTS, MAY 2013 OR MAY 2014 GRADUATES WILL BE CONSIDERED.
