Showing, one job listing at a time, how toxic a JD is on the job market. Please don't go to law school.

Legal Assistant (Denver)

[Ed.--  The job says that you will "[l]earn the specifics about how to practice law", but then says no JD's.  Are they teaching people how to engage in the unauthorized practice of law?

More broadly, if a job on craigslist asks you to send a "friendly photo" and says that you must be "non traditional, irreverent, and possess a good sense of humor", my sincere advice is not to reply.  Creepy.]

If you'd like work experience with a local boutique practice, send us your res/cv and a friendly photo. Part time, temp to possible perm. Learn the specifics about how to practice law. Great resume builder. 13$ an hour, Cap Hill location. No JD's. Must be non traditional, irreverent, and possess a good sense of humor. Work from home possible.
