Showing, one job listing at a time, how toxic a JD is on the job market. Please don't go to law school.

Elder Law Paralegal (Sudbury)

[Ed.-- This ad perfectly encapsulates why non-elite JD's have a negative economic value, even if you ignore the time and capital cost in acquiring the degree itself.  With a law degree from a marginal or worse school, nobody will want to hire you as a lawyer.  Nobody will want to hire you for a non-lawyer legal position, because they don't think you'll be happy with long-term employment in a support position.  Outside of the legal industry, very few are going to see the law degree as a positive.  So, what was the point of getting the degree in the first instance?]
