Temp/Perm Immigration Paralegal/Legal Assistant

A well regarded small law office in Waltham, Massachusetts is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. We offer a collegial work environment that places a high value on collaboration. Individual must have good writing skills, be highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task. Individual must also be able to work within very strict time frames, have excellent interpersonal skills, and pays strong attention to detail. Responsibilities and duties would include: assisting attorneys in the preparation and filing of employment and family-based immigration petitions/applications with the US Citizenship and Immigration Services, support attorneys with clients in removal proceedings in immigration court, communicate clearly both orally and in writing with individuals, legal offices and government agencies, filing and tracking various immigration applications and petitions, assist in the gathering of supporting documents, assist with additional administrative duties which may include answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing, other ad hoc tasks, and all other duties as assigned.

***Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certification is highly recommended as well as: excellent writing, computer, interpersonal, organization and time management skills. Proficiency in speaking and writing Spanish is a must. Previous immigration law experience is a strong plus but not a mandate for the right candidate. Please email resume and proposed salary.
